How payment works
Pay once on any plan, or pay monthly on Starter, Essential, and Signature.
Option 1: Pay once
You pay 50% to start and 50% when the site is finished, before handover. You never pay for work that isn’t done.
If you cancel after paying the deposit, it isn’t refundable. If I cancel, you get every cent back.
Once the final payment clears, everything is yours. Code, domain, GitHub access, hosting, content, and images.
Your plan includes 1 to 6 months of care (see below). After that, the care plan is optional.
Option 2: Pay monthly
You pay a small deposit at kickoff: $99 on Starter, $149 on Essential, or $199 on Signature. Once design work starts, the deposit is non-refundable. It counts toward the price of the site.
Monthly payments start when the site goes live and run for 24 months. The minimum is 12 months.
Each invoice has two lines: your website payment and your care plan.
You can pay off the rest at any time, with no early-payoff fee. The payoff is the pay-once price, minus your deposit, minus the website payments you’ve already made. Once it’s paid off, the site is yours. Paying it off is also how you stop early: the care plan can’t be cancelled on its own before then. If you stop paying without paying it off, you still owe the payments up to month 12, the site goes offline, and ownership doesn’t transfer.
After payoff, the website line ends and your bill drops to the care plan amount. The care plan continues month to month.
How much should a website cost?
A freelancer might charge $300. A big agency might charge $30,000. Most of that gap is overhead: account managers, sales teams, office rent, and all the hands your budget passes through before it reaches the person doing the work.

You're paying for the build itself, done by the person whose track record you're buying. You're not funding layers of management you'll never talk to.
After launch: the care plan
If you pay once, your first months of care are already included: 1 month on Starter and Essential, 3 on Signature, and 6 on Prestige. After that, the care plan is optional. If you pay monthly, the care plan is part of every invoice from the start.
