Terms & Conditions
These are the terms that govern every BraneBox project. Plain language — no buried clauses, no surprises. Read them before you commit, and ask if anything is unclear.

Who these terms apply to.
These terms form the agreement between BraneBox — a sole proprietorship owned by Marquis Kobayashi Mendoza, Kenzo's legal name in the Philippines — and the client who purchases a web design service.
By paying the deposit or using this site to initiate a project, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full. If you have questions before committing, email kenzo@branebox.com — that is what the contact page is for.
What BraneBox delivers.
Every project is a custom-built website using Next.js, deployed on Vercel. No themes. No page builders. The deliverables depend on the plan selected, as published on the pricing page:
| Plan | Price | Pages | Timeline | Revisions | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $2,500 | Up to 5 | 2–3 wks | 2 rounds | 1 month |
| Signature | $4,500 | Up to 10 | 3–4 wks | 3 rounds | 3 months |
| Prestige | $7,000 | Up to 15 | 4–6 wks | Unlimited | 6 months |
Every plan includes technical SEO, schema markup, Core Web Vitals optimisation, responsive design, Google Analytics and Search Console setup, Google Business Profile setup, professional email, original brand visuals, a contact form, a blog section, free domain (1 year), and GitHub access. A full feature list is on the pricing page.
Scope is defined by the plan. Work outside the agreed scope — additional pages, new sections, features not discussed before the project began — is quoted separately and requires written agreement before proceeding.
How payment works.
All projects are paid in two equal instalments:
- 50% deposit — before work begins — No work starts until the deposit is received. This confirms your project slot and begins the timeline.
- 50% balance — on completion, before handover — The final payment is due when the site is ready and approved. Nothing transfers until the balance is paid. Nothing is withheld once it is.
Payments are accepted via PayPal or bank transfer. They are processed under the legal name Marquis Kobayashi Mendoza — the same person doing the work. If the name on a transaction is unfamiliar, that is why.
All prices are listed in US dollars. The PHP equivalent shown on the pricing page is indicative, based on a live exchange rate, and is provided for reference only. The USD amount is the binding figure.
What happens if the project stops.
These are the rules, stated plainly:
Client cancels after deposit
The deposit is non-refundable. It covers time reserved, discovery work completed, and the slot denied to another client. Any deliverables completed to that point will be handed over.
BraneBox cancels
The deposit is refunded in full. No partial deductions, no conditions. This has not happened yet — and the terms exist to be fair if it ever does.
Project goes silent (client unresponsive)
If a client does not respond to communications for 30 consecutive days, the project is considered abandoned. The deposit is forfeited. Work may resume if the client re-engages, subject to availability and a new quote.
How revisions work.
Each plan includes a set number of revision rounds — 2 for Essential, 3 for Signature, unlimited for Prestige. A revision round is a consolidated set of changes submitted at one time. Sending 20 individual notes over three days does not constitute one round.
A revision round covers refinements to existing scope — layout adjustments, copy changes, colour tweaks. It does not cover adding new pages, restructuring the site architecture, or changing the brief entirely. Those are treated as scope additions and quoted separately.
If you are not satisfied after your included revision rounds, raise the issue directly. The goal of every project is a site you are proud of — and if something is not right, the right response is to fix it, not to hide behind a revision count. Reasonable concerns will be addressed.
Delivery expectations.
Timelines begin from the date the deposit is received and all required client materials — copy, logos, images, brand references — are provided. A project cannot start on time if the inputs arrive late.
Timelines are estimates, not guarantees. They reflect the pace of a project with normal back-and-forth. If client feedback is delayed, the timeline shifts proportionally. If unforeseen technical complexity extends the build, you will be notified immediately.
If you have a hard deadline — a launch event, an announcement, a deadline tied to another commitment — state it upfront. Hard deadlines are accommodated where possible and treated seriously once agreed.
What you own when it’s done.
On receipt of the final payment, full ownership of all deliverables transfers to the client, unconditionally. This includes:
- All source code — pushed to a GitHub repository in your name
- The domain name (registered to you, or transferred to you)
- All original brand visuals and image assets created for the project
- All written content created by BraneBox for the project
- Hosting configuration and Vercel project access
There is no ongoing licence, no lock-in, and no exit fee. You are free to move the site to any host, work with any developer, or modify the code however you choose. BraneBox retains the right to display the project in its portfolio and case studies unless you request otherwise in writing.
What we need from you.
A project moves at the speed of the slowest party. To keep your timeline on track:
- Provide materials promptly — Copy, logos, photography, login credentials, and brand references should be ready before or shortly after the deposit is paid.
- Give consolidated feedback — Collect all feedback from all stakeholders before submitting a revision round. Drip-feeding changes extends timelines for both sides.
- Ensure content accuracy — You are responsible for the accuracy of all content — business names, contact details, pricing, legal claims. BraneBox writes to convert and rank; factual verification is the client's responsibility.
- Obtain rights to third-party assets — If you supply images, fonts, or other materials, you confirm you hold the rights to use them. BraneBox is not liable for infringement arising from client-supplied assets.
What BraneBox stands behind.
90+ PageSpeed score
Every project is built to achieve a 90 or above on Google PageSpeed Insights, on both mobile and desktop, at launch. If it does not meet that threshold, it will be fixed before handover. This guarantee covers the site as delivered — not performance after the client or third-party scripts are added post-launch.
Satisfaction
If you are not satisfied after your included revision rounds, raise the specific issue. BraneBox will keep working until the concern is resolved — within the original scope. This is not a blank cheque for scope changes; it is a commitment to getting the agreed work right.
BraneBox does not guarantee specific Google rankings, traffic volumes, or conversion rates. SEO is built in from the first line of code — that is a structural advantage, not a ranking promise. Rankings are determined by Google.
Post-launch support and ongoing retainer.
Every plan includes a post-launch support period — 1 month on Essential, 3 months on Signature, 6 months on Prestige. During this period, questions, minor edits, and bug fixes are handled at no additional charge.
After the included period, clients may continue with an optional monthly retainer. Two tiers are available:
- Basic — $149/month — Hosting, uptime monitoring, and security updates.
- Pro — $299/month — Everything in Basic, plus minor content edits and priority support.
Retainer agreements are month-to-month with no lock-in. Cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice. No exit fee.
The limits of our responsibility.
BraneBox's liability in connection with any project is limited to the total amount paid for that project. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use or inability to use the delivered website.
BraneBox is not responsible for issues arising from hosting providers, domain registrars, third-party integrations, or platform outages outside our control.
After the post-launch support period, the client assumes full responsibility for maintaining, securing, and updating the site, unless a retainer is in place.
Jurisdiction and disputes.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from a BraneBox project should first be raised directly with Kenzo at kenzo@branebox.com. Most concerns are resolved within 24 hours. Formal legal proceedings are a last resort — and in fifteen years of client work, have never been necessary.
Changes to these terms.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time you pay your deposit is the version that governs your project. Updates will not be applied retroactively to projects already in progress.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
